Advocacy in Action with the West Coast Chamber
Join us for breakfast with our elected state and federal legislators. An integral component of the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce's mission is to communicate the views of the business community to our elected officials. Our monthly Governmental Affairs Breakfast gives our members the opportunity to dialog with our local elected state and federal legislators. After a brief update from the Public Policy Committee and each of the legislators, the floor is open for questions from, and discussions with, our members.

Transportation Topics of Discussion:
MDOT

Join us as we welcome Jeff Cranson, Director of Communications and Dennis Kent, Grand Region Planner from MDOT as they share updates on the Ottawa/Allegan projects currently taking place.

West Michigan Express Initiative
Hudsonville City Manager Patrick Waterman will share an update on the West Michigan Express  (WMX) initiative - a collaborative effort to link the communities along the Chicago Drive corridor (Holland, Zeeland, Hudsonville, Grandville, and Grand Rapids) with the mobility option of commuter-based public transportation beginning with express bus service and potentially leading to commuter rail.
