Advocacy in Action with the West Coast Chamber
Governmental Affairs Breakfast

Join us for breakfast with our elected state and federal legislators. An integral component of the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce's mission is to communicate the views of the business community to our elected officials. Our monthly Governmental Affairs Breakfast gives our members the opportunity to dialog with our local elected state and federal legislators. After a brief update from the Public Policy Committee and each of the legislators, the floor is open for questions from, and discussions with, our members.

In November, we will focus most of our time on a panel of superintendents from our surrounding areas. This will be a time to bring attention to the talent needs that are in schools, not just in industry. The panel will be led by Jason Pasatta from the OAISD, the following superintendents will be in attendance Shannon Brunink ? Black River Public Schools, Brian Davis ? Holland Public, Cal DeKuiper ? Zeeland Public Schools, Chris Glass ? West Michigan Talent Triangle, Dave Tebo ? Hamilton Schools, Tim Travis ? Saugatuck Public Schools, and Doug VanderJagt ? Hudsonville Public Schools.
