Travis Williams, Executive Director of the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway (ODCMG) and Manager of the Project Clarity initiative, will share an update on Project Clarity.
Project Clarity is a community initiative aimed at restoring the water quality of the Macatawa Watershed. The $12 million campaign focuses on wetland and flood plain restoration, urban and agricultural best management practices, and community education with a target of reducing the sediment and nutrient runoff in the watershed by 70%. Travis will share the progress of the funding campaign which started in August of 2013, as well as provide updates on several projects that are underway.
