Agri-Business
Jim Byrum, President of the Michigan Agri-Business Association, will be speaking on trends in agriculture, both positive and some challenges with both commodity and specialty crop production. He will explain the drivers of the continued growth, as well as where and how it will likely take place. Jim will also explain the need for material handling - fertilizer, grain, feed, etc. - and transportation infrastructure to handle this growth.
The Michigan Agri-Business Association represents virtually every segment of agriculture, including renewable fuel producers and companies involved in industries related to those businesses.
