Event Description:

Juan Manuel Solana Morales, the Consul Titular, will share his thoughts on Mexican/American business interchanges.  He will share the advantages of doing business with Mexico and how it is a win/win.

He has been Consul of Mexico in Detroit since September, 2013. Prior to coming to Detroit, he was Consul of Mexico in Indianapolis, and Albuquerque. At the Consulate of Mexico in Houston he was Consul of Political Economic Affairs.

He has eight years of experience in the financial sector working with Banco Mexicano Somex, Nacional Financiera and the Negocentros Project for the Mexican Small Business Administration System. As an entrepreneur Mr. Solana owned businesses in the retail, restaurant and consulting service sectors.

In the academic field, he is graduated from the "Universidad lberoamericana" and continued his graduate studies in  the National College of Economy. He specialized in Econometrics, Finance and Strategic Planning. He worked for nine years as professor in the "Universidad lberoamericana".
