Succeeding at Succession
Most businesses are family businesses. For a variety of reasons, most businesses don't survive over the long run. Yet, how wonderful for communities, employees and families when a family business succeeds for generations. In Succeeding at Succession, we'll explore the reasons why and how many family businesses are able to successfully navigate through ownership and leadership succession. Levering that learning, we'll work our way through a succession case study pulling together into composite form a number of real experiences. Then we'll sum up with lessons learned. Expect to come out of this session with concrete ideas on how to initiate or improve upon succession processes in your family business.
