Build Your Business by Building Your Team
To open up the conversation on how to help your family business leaders work together more effectively, we will look at Patrick Lencioni's, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team and apply them to a family business context. We'll gain an understanding of building trust, mastering conflict, achieving commitment, embracing accountability and focusing on results and explore best practices to intentionally implement those behaviors within and through our teams.
About Andrew Gorter
Dr. Andrew Gorter, D.Min., PCC, is the president and owner of Plus One Coaching LLC. He has over 25 years of experience working with people who want to gain effectiveness in their business and life and move forward with clarity, courage and confidence. Through Plus One Coaching he has brought together his passions for leadership, coaching and relationships in order to coach leaders and work teams, consult with family businesses and teach coaching on faculty with Professional Christian Coaching Institute. He holds a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Michigan. Early in his career he pastored two churches before launching a non-profit counseling practice that he ran for 16 years. He is credentialed by the International Coach Federation (ICF) at the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level and is a member of the Christian Coaches Network International (CCNI). Andrew and his wife, Karen, live in Holland and have two adult daughters who are both married and raising their own families.
