Summer Fitbit Challenge
Let’s get fit together! The West Coast Chamber is excited to offer our next Fitbit Summer Challenge. It is new and improved and will run from June 2-July 13. This fun Challenge will feature options for all to enjoy, regardless of your physical ability, and you will have the opportunity to network at special events too. Find information below about how the Challenge will work. We hope you decide to join the fun!
· New! Cost will be $30 dollars and will include registration to participate in the Zeeland Zoom run ($15 value) in Downtown Zeeland on June 24, including an awesome Chamber Race Team shirt!
· Special group noontime walks on June 10 and July 8 (lunch included) will provide an opportunity to walk together, network and build relationships.
· Prize drawings will be done weekly to award you for your hard work towards being more healthy.
· New! Teams will be created for the casual/walker. For every day you walk 5,000 steps, your team will receive 1 point, up to 7 points a week. If you walk more than 5,000 steps ALL 7 DAYS of a week, your team will receive an additional 2 points for that week.
· New! Teams will be created for the walker/runner. For every day you walk 10,000 steps, your team will receive 1 point, up to 7 points a week. If you walk more than 10,000 steps ALL 7 DAYS of a week, your team will receive an additional 2 points for that week.
· Prizes will be awarded at the end of the Challenge for the winning teams of each category!
Please note that all interested participants should be COMMITTED to walking their steps on a regular basis. This is a great way to create or improve your healthy lifestyle habits!
