The Lakeshore ATHENA Award is presented annually to recognize individuals who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession, provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, and actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential.
The Lakeshore ATHENA Awards program is a collaboration of shoreline area communities - The Chamber of Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg; the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce; and the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce.
The program will be held on Tuesday, October 4, at Trillium Catering & Events Center (17246 Van Wagoner Rd, Spring Lake) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Tickets are $45 per person for Chamber members, $55 per person for non-members or $430 per corporate table of eight.

Pat is the Principal of Mobius Coaching, working as a transformational coach with diverse leaders. A Latina with 40 years as an established leader in social justice providing leadership in public, nonprofit, and private spaces. Pat is scaling movements, serving as a thought leader and partner to executives in addition to front line leaders as someone who relates to the head and heart issues that come with leadership. She has a love and curiosity for the human spirit providing space for mutual learning and building on the strengths in others that they have yet to acknowledge, realize or recognize in themselves.
Pat is the Founder and past Executive Director of Ready for School a nonprofit located in Holland, Michigan, a current Kellogg Foundation Leadership Network Fellow, and was the 2012 Lakeshore Athena Award Recipient.
