Please join us as we welcome Raul Alvarez, Chief Communicator, Storyteller, Synergist with the GTSD Group as he will present on civic engagement. Raul will lead an extremely frank and open discussion on the importance of being involved in our communities. The discussion challenges participants to do away with excuses, fears and "obstacles" that keep them fromt being a relevant part of their community. In the end, we hope you will leave with answers to the questions "what's next" and "what are you prepared to do"?

Raul is a 20-year veteran of Michigan's public relations industry, owns the GTSD Group, which he founded in 2012 and is a strategic partner with Clark Communications, a full service PR Firm. Raul uses his diverse practical experience in public relations and communications to serve clients with vision casting, innovative strategic thinking and telling their story. 

Raul utilizes his storytelling model of excite, educate, engage and evaluate to help clients acheive results through media relations, event/project management, promotional campaigns, message development, paid advertising and social media engagement strategies. His adapability to working with different subject matters, industries and disciplines is the result of his experience with diverse groups of clients.
