Some organizations have an office/department dedicated to enhancing their workforce diversity and ensuring an inclusive work environment as well as external relationships. These professionals have been trained and educated on best practices and stay up-to-date on the current trends in the field. What if a business wants to do some work in the Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) space but cannot devote a staff (or even a person) to lead the effort? What can be done and who might be involved in this work (besides HR)?
This program will identify how to scale some I&D Best Practices to better meet the needs of the attendees. It will provide tools for leaders to better understand the impact of I&D and tips to create more inclusive workplaces.
After completing this program, participants will be able to:
- Describe inclusive workplace behaviors for leaders
- Assess the impact of diversity in their organization
- Identify and engage the key stakeholders within their organization
- Create a customized outline to align I&D work with their organizational strategies
