How to Present Like a Pro
This session is designed to equip you with the basic skills you need to know before your next presentation. Participants will learn how to refine your speech topic, how to identify the needs of your audience and gather and organize your research. We will discuss how to reduce speaking anxiety, how to use technology and visual aids and how to polish your deliver skills for a powerful message.
Zoe Carmichael, Owner, Zoe Carmichael Consulting
Zoe Carmichael is a teach, trainer, facilitator and speaker coach. She coaches and trains professionals on a variety of topics with an emphasis on the creation and delivery of short, to the point, engaging presentations.
Zoe is an adjunct professor at Kendall College of Art & Design of Ferris State University in Grand Rapids, MI. Her professional background includes sales, marketing, human resources, public speaking and teaching a variety of communication courses. Zoe has taught for Aquinas College, Calvin College, Davenport University and conducted training's Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University. She is a frequent trainer for TEDx and Failure Lab and has worked with several pitch competitions for Start Garden, GVSU and AIGA.
