Event Description:
The Professional Lakeshore Latinas mission is fostering relationships and empowering Latinas through advocacy, service, and professional development.
Please join us at our next meeting for networking and the opportunity to have authentic conversations facilitated by Reyna Masko and Vanessa Gutierrez. Beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be provided.Beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
We will also welcome Milinda Ysasi from The SOURCE who will present on Micro-Aggression in the Workplace.
Milinda is a co-founder of the Latina Network of West Michigan, an organic collective focused on changing the Latina narrative in the region. She is an appointed member to the Civil Service Board, city of Grand Rapids. Additionally she serves as the co-chair for KConnect (collective impact organization) high school to career work group. She has been recognized for her commitment and leadership with the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce ATHENA Young Professional award, the GVSU Alumni Service award, GR Business Journal 40 under forty and the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network-GR DoGooder and Exemplary Executive awards.
