Ready for School Annual Breakfast

The Holland/Zeeland community has some big shoes to fill.  Children born today will be our community's workforce tomorrow.  Will they be ready?

Imagine 2015 and a community where our children are ready for school.  Children born today are the workforce of the future.  The Ready for School community initiative has a goal of ensuring that all of our children enter school prepared to succeed.  The immediate goal is to increase kindergarten readiness to 75% by 2015, up from 55% in 2010.  At this meeting the 2011 readiness data will be shared as well as a progress report on the initiative's activities.  It takes an entire community to prepare our children and it will impact our entire community when our children are successful.
