A shareholder with Rhoades McKee with over 25 years of experience, Bruce emphasizes his practice on civil and commercial litigation. As a Court-Appointed Facilitative Mediator, Bruce also assists individuals and businesses resolve disputes through mediation and arbitration. In 2010, he co-chaired a 4 week long jury trial which resulted in a verdict in favor of his client for roughly $7.9 million, which is believed to be the highest verdict in the history of Kent County Circuit Court. He has spoken extensively on issues relating to business law, litigation and construction for groups such as Builders Exchange of West Michigan, The American Institute of Architects, the American Society of Professional Estimators and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan.
