TED Lunch

Please join us on Friday, May 17 for the TED Lunch, a unique opportunity to view a TED video and discuss the 'ideas' worth spreading with other community thought leaders.

This month's TED video will be David McCandless: The Beauty of Data Visualization.  David McCandless turns complex data sets (like worldwide military spending, media buzz, Facebook status updates) into beautiful, simple diagrams that tease out unseen patterns and connections.  Good design, he suggests, is the best way to navigate information glut - and it may just change the way we see the world.

Please bring your own lunch, or come a little early and buy one from the library café.  While there is no cost to attend this event, we do ask you to register.  Thanks to our TED Lunch partners Herrick District Library and TEDx Macatawa.
