About Leander LeSure
Leander joined Herman Miller as Chief Human Resources Officer in 2019. In his role, he serves as key advisor to the Leadership Team, providing strategic counsel to ensure people strategies are aligned with and support business objectives and the corporate strategy. LeSure has previously held positions at Getty Images, Western Union, and American Express. Early in his career, he also served in the U.S. Navy. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Northern Kentucky University and a Master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Leander is a Midwest native, growing up in Gary, Indiana, and relocated to West Michigan from New York.
