West Coast Connect promotes cultural awareness and community leadership through exploration of area programs and resources which enhance our quality of life.
The program is free of charge and participants in this sixteenth year will meet for eight instructional sessions. During these sessions, the class will explore personal leadership and cultural concerns while focusing on area programs and resources.
Dante Villarreal, Business Consultant with the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center, will facilitate the class through the following topics: - Orientation/Community History - Economic Development/Business - Community Resources - Law Enforcement - Government - Education - Health Care - Art/Culture - Graduation
West Coast Connect will be held on Tuesdays, October 8 - December 3, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. There is no cost to participate in this program.
